Theo sucked in a long breath, it wasn't easy, not for him, he felt his pride was wounded. "I don't know why we tolerate him," Theo commented with a shameful shake of his head.

That made Theo happy and he could help but smile a little, "hear that we pity you," Nate shook his head it figured.

Talia laughed, grabbing her beer now that it was there. Maybe they would all be okay.

It seemed as though everything was going to be okay and Nate was satisfied and relaxed they could all be friends and not date that's what he wanted to prove. For the time being it seemed Theo was on board.

The only thing that would make things worse was if Theo found out she was dating someone else. Nate hadn't told him he doubted Talia had said anything either.

As they went in with the night Theo became more and more comfortable it took over an hour but eventually it was indeed like old times like Nate had guaranteed. Theo was just about to buy himself and Talia a drink after Nate had gone home. They were still going Theo thought it was promising. Then suddenly some guy came zooming in to try to pick her up. Theo hadn't even been paying attention until he returned to the table with their drinks.

Talia slid over when she spotted Jace headed her way. She tilted up her face for his kiss, sliding a hand onto his thigh familiarly when he leaned next to her.

When the proud powerful warrior returned to the table, it took a moment for him to register exactly what was going on. Even then it was still beyond him. He didn't drop the drinks and he resisted the urge of smashing them both against this guy's face. Who did he think he was kissing theo's girl. Being as stable as he could, Theodore slid her drink to her and returned to his seat.'

She took it without a word. "Theo," she started, slowly, careful. "This is Jace. My boyfriend. Jace, Theo."

Theo knew he could tear this kids head off, and not have a second thought, every muscle in him screamed to just do it what's the worst that could happen? After jace introduced himself and struck out a hand to shake. Theo agreed to do it and as they clasped hands and said, "Nice to meet you," but inside he wa laughing hysterically.
