Theodore trudged up the stairs to his apartment on the tenth floor. He was light in his feet despite the fact he was carrying a considerable amount of groceries. Theo had never pictures himself living in a slightly rundown apartment in central Gothamme. Haven grown up among some of the richest families in the world Theodore had gotten use to a certain standard of living. Everyday he grumbled about how he never should of left, but he always had a habit of saying things he never really meant. Theodore had a reputation for being slightly dramatic an pig headed particularly among the two people who knew him best, his older brother and his on again off again exgirlfriend ... Of sorts. It was a slightly difficult situation but both brothers liked her and had put themselves out there to date her at some point or another. Having been neighbours for as long as they could remember they all knew one another very well. The brothers could not have been more different Theodore was more negative and realistic while the other was always positive and upbeat a little stuck in the clouds. Though the brothers were very close they could easily start a fight among themselves especially when they were jn one another's space constantly. Now that they lived in different homes their meetings were less frequent and less hostile. This was for the best since what they were made for brutal battles. As youngsters the three were mischievous always skipping school together, unafraid to play pranks and go places try weren't suppose to be going. It was an incident that have them superhuman abilities, possibly even greater than he powers some heroes of Gothamme had. Having heard of these heroes the decision had been made to desert the secluded Island to start lives of their own as heroes. Theodore had been completely against the idea they would have to start from the bottom, have nothing an get a job...? None of that sit well with him but letting them leave while he was stuck behind with the family was no good either. So inevitably he went with the other two and that's how he wound up living in such an unsuitable place. It had been only a month and gothamme certainly had the problems they had heard about. It was such a large city that Theodore didn't have to see his brother everyday, but he was around fairly often to check up on his little brother. Currently the older brother was dating her, and as much as Theodore hate it he pretended like he didn't care in the least. He was so close with the both of them that there wasn't much they could do to make them completely dead to him. Muttering under his breath as he finally reached his place, theo slid his key into the lock and when it didn't turn immediately he thought he may just twist the handle right off. Blasted key never worked!

Talia chatted and laughed with Nathan as they climbed the stairs to Theo's apartment. She swung arms connected with linked fingers to Nathan's, side's brushing as they climbed the narrow staircase. Talia was in love with Nathan. However, her situation was more complicated than that because she was equally in love with his brother Theodore. She swung between them like a pendulum as what she wanted changed over time. And still, she never came to a final, lasting conclusion. The two brothers had also been remarkably tolerant about sharing her between them. Still, she knew that it couldn't go on like this; it wasn't fair to either of them. She had been thinking along these lines for days now. She thought she might finally have come to a decision. They were her best friends, they'd left their little island and their comfortable lives for her or with her. It was time to do right by them and set them free instead of stringing them along. She squeezed Nathan's hand as they reached his floor and approached Theodore's door.

When Nathan pounded upon his little brothers front door. The emotion that Theodore felt instantly was annoyance, how dare this unwelcome stranger interrupt home. "No one is home," he barked from his kitchen, it was easily heard on the otherside of the door. Nathan sighed a little and shook his head, "he never changes," and he knocked again. Theodore had no patience for slow people, or stupid actions. He was quick to jump down people's throats and deal judgment where it is deserved. Nathan was much more accepting and had the patience Theodore was missing.

Talia smiled up at the older brother. "No," she agreed. "Are you going to let us in?" she called through the thin door. She cocked a hip while she waited, settling her free hand into the pocket of her leather jacket.

At the sound of her voice, he couldn't help but feel a chill of excitement. He hadn't seen her in almost two weeks. Nathan wouldn't admit it but he didn't like bringing Talia around theo too often he knew his little brother was a massive flirt. Theo and talia had been friends first ten nathan had been pulled in. It was undeniable that talia and theo had a deep bond. She was the only person who could get away with anything for theo he didn't even mind if she called him teddy any one else would have been dead meat. He had a lust and passion for her and certainly loves her but he had a much more difficult time of saying it, unlike nathan. Feeling a little embarrassed of his little apartment, he grudgingly went to the door slid a dozen locks out of place and finally opened after a log hesitation.

Talia smiled brightly when she saw him, heart lurching like it always did. In random moments of thought she wondered how her heart ever performed normally when it was constantly jolting out of beat at the sight of them. She let go of Nathan's fingers to open her arms for Theodore's hug, fingers wiggling in a beckoning gesture. "How's it going?" she asked.

He was instantly greeted by two warm smiles. Nathan was taller than Theodore and forever wore this goofy smile, while theo was the master of smirks and scowls. He couldn't help but smirk proudly at his brother as theo hugged Nathan's girlfriend but he his it from her well. "As well as a peasants life can be you could say. I suppose you want to come in?" He offered in an odd manner pretending he wasn't happy to see his childhood friend and love of his life in many ways. His home wasn't terrible it was only in his eyes that it was a shoebox. Upon coming to gotamme when he wasn't with his brother helping other more minor lives, theo worked as a personal trainer and that's how he paid for his things. When the entered he shut the door behind them.

Talia didn't see the smug smile but would have swatted him if she had. "I suppose we do," she confirmed, strolling in past him once he let go. She ignored his exterior pretenses, know them for what they were. She knew he was happy to see her. His place was actually nicer than hers, or bigger at least. She lived in a real shoe box. They could have all lived together but that would probably have been too much for all of them, especially if she was sleeping with one brother and not the other. Talia turned her back on the to stare out his one window while she waited for the pair to greet each other. Nathan, at least, would be nice.

"So to what do I owe this visit?" Theodore questioned turning his gaze on his brother. "No hug for me?" Nathan joked but when theo furrowed his brow, nathan started laughing, "relax little brother, I just haven't heard from you for a bit wanted to check on since you obviously don't wantto return my calls." Theo crossed his arms over his chest, "I'm not a child I don't need looking after." He said this even though adjusting to his new life certainly wasn't easy.

Talia half smiled at their banter, turning around to lean against the wall. "We're just checking because we love you," she coaxed.

He wrinkled his nose at what he would call an accusation. "Oh really? Is that a fact well well, lucky me," he said with evident sarcasm. "You'll be pleased, I'm sure, to know that I'm fine as always, though I still think we made a mistake coming here."

Talia shared an amused, exasperated, knowing look with Nathan They had both talked about it and they had both wanted to come and they had both heard him say that many times. "Good. Do you have anything to eat in this place? I'm starving."

"I was just making dinner actually," he told her, they had immaculate timing. Ever since the accident they all had massive appetites to sustain their powers.

She smiled. "Great! I think I could eat a horse." Talia chewed on her lips for a second wondering when the right time would be to tell them her decision. Because according to routine, her and Nathan would eventually die out again and her and Teddy would hook up again. She couldn't let it keep going.

Teddy smothered his smile and fed the both of them. It took all of what he made, a considerably massive concoction of soup, recipe courtesy or their mother and several loaves of bread before all three were full. It was late when they did leave, he would have never admitted it but their visits were the highlight of his day. An opportunity to rival with his brother and flirt it up with his on again off again girlfriend. They had a very odd triangle it was undeniable.nate had already left to start the car to get it warm in the chilled temperature outside. Teddy always snorted at the idea of driving it should have been below them at this point. Theo went with her to the front door and held up her jacket to slip it on for her, always the rude gentleman.
