The night was a good one, like always. Good food, good company, good conversation. Nate was warming up the car when Theo helped her into her jacket. She half twisted to smile wickedly at him. "Thanks."

She seriously considered the first part of his question. When had they dated last? She was pretty sure it was only a few months ago. They were dating right before she decided to come here and do something with her abilities. Nate was far more supportive of the change. But Talia didn't say that out loud. Dating two brothers was tricky enough without accidentally screwing things up with words. Instead she just smiled at him with feigned amusement. "Because sometimes I need a break from you, to recuperate, you know?" She figured he'd like that answer, like he was more man than she could handle. She punched him lightly on the shoulder. "Besides, we can hang out whenever you want."

She caught the expression on his face and rolled her eyes with a smile, but inwardly it made her uneasy. That right there was one of the problems. "I'll see you later okay?" she said hurriedly.

She waved a hand in parting and slipped down the stairs to Nate. Her current boyfriend. What a fucked up situation. She smiled when she saw him but it was a troubled smile.

Theo wasn't what one may consider a classic super hero. He didn't go looking for crimes. If he happened upon some trouble and felt so inclined he may help. He didn't do bad things though at times he had thoughts of doing bad things robbing banks, and people causing general mayhem he just had never acted upon it. His brother didn't seem to have the same desire always kind hearted and caring he spent plenty of time at base with the other heroes and his girlfriend well ex girlfriend as of recently, which caused him to go a little Mia as he usually did after a break up.

Talia had finally done it. She had broken up with Nate. And not gotten back together with Theo. She figured that was a good first step. She rubbed the heel of her hand over her heart, as if it was aching. She smiled over at the guy sitting beside her as he watched her and talked. The next step of her master plan -as she jokingly referred to it, to herself- was to find someone new, and for her two now-ex-boyfriends to do the same. Maybe they could finally develop a normal relationship, just friends. Maybe she could stop being in love with two people and they could stop being in love with the same one. She hadn't told Theo yet. She didn't really want to.

Whenever then did come to headquarters it was usually after a bad day at the office and he needed a few hours to whail on people who deserved it. His cure for the pent up rage he carried. He could clear the city of gothamme in no time but had little issue with causing destruction in his path, which was a big issue. When he returned for his pat on the back for his latest work he was scolded. It figures fools had no backbones anyway.
