Her whole body relaxed as soon as he turned around. She hadn't realized how wound up he'd had her.

As he had promised, Gabriel was waiting on the entrance to the pier. He wondered if she would even show up, that entire encounter had been strange to say the least.

Ana had debated with herself all day. She had even dressed up, then changed, then changed again. Swearing she finally left, slinging a purse over her shoulder. She caught a cab to the docks, not bothering to look around as they drove through the projects. She got out at the docks and glanced around. She nervously touched her neck, left bare because her caramel hair was pulled up into a twist. She glanced at the slim watch on her wrist, noting that she was five minutes early. Why the hell was she early? She debated getting back in the cab and had even half turned to do just that when she heard it drive off. She sighed then knowing full well she was in it now. She faced forward once more and strolled forward, oddly not worried about her location. Or it would be odd, if she weren't who she was. She saw him then, silhouetted against the fading light by the pier and hesitated. She resisted the urge to fidget nervously again and walked forward, chin high. Why the hell was he affecting her like this?

The very last thing he had expected was that she would be early, yet here she was. He couldn't help the smile that came to his face when she appeared from within the cab. He had been looking forward to this all day, why he could not say, it had been a while since he had taken a girl out, he was such a busy man after all. he had spent the whole day planning and knew she would enjoy it, there was no way she couldn't. Standing at the docks, Gabriel looked very expensive, especially against their drab surroundings. Bad things usually went down in the southern parts of town and the docks were about as far south as you could go.

Her heels clicked as she got close to him, short tunic dress swishing against her legs. She stopped next to him, looked him over slowly. "You look nice," she said slowly, sounding almost surprised. And he did, if she was being honest. She didn't want to be honest. She wanted to dislike him with the violence she had before she saw him. This was inconvenient, especially if it went any further. Not that it would, she assured herself. She was here for observation, not because she liked him. At all. "Why the docks?" she asked suddenly. It wasn't a safe place to bring a woman, especially not one you met on the upper east side.

Gabriel was completely unaware of the fact of who she may really be, as far as he was concerned she was just a very pretty woman who had caught his eye. He still could not place it, but there was something about her that was just soothing. He smiled and chuckled a little when she got right down to the questions, "Well, you mentioned, for starters that you like sailing?"

"Good memory," she replied, tilting her head. "Are we taking a ride then?" The idea excited her. She did love the water. The earth too.

"Yes ma'am, but first I need your name," Gabriel reminded her, they had never come around to it yesterday.

She laughed, flashing white even teeth. "I did forget that step didn't I? Ana." She offered a hand.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you properly, my name is Gabriel," He introduced in return taking her hand.

She shook his hand firmly, skin humming. "I know who you are," she smiled crookedly.

Gabriel shrugged, "Would have been rude to not at least return the favour," he explained, not surprised that she knew him, his picture was all around the city, he was rather well known. "Our vessel is on the other side," He explained leading the way down the narrow docks.

She walked along beside him, looking around with interest. "I'm surprised you could find the time in your busy schedule for this."
